Originally from San Rafael, Jose Mostafa began working in international education in 1992. Since then, he has hosted thousands of students in Mendoza, personally coordinating their lodging, academic experiences, health and emergency services, and cultural activities.
For fifteen years, Jose served as the Mendoza Director of IFSA-Butler, a provider of semester-long study programs worldwide. With over three decades of experience in the field, his expertise in managing programs and supporting students and faculty is unparalleled, not only in Mendoza but in international education overall.
Jose holds a degree in Social Communications from Mendoza’s Cuyo National University and an MBA in Global Management from institutions in Argentina, the U.S., and Spain (through Mendoza’s Alta Dirección Escuela de Negocios, ADEN).
David English leverages nearly thirty years of experience as an investment consultant with English & Associates to secure high-quality consulting engagements for students at Mendoza’s leading companies.
The subjects of David’s book, Expat Entrepreneurs in Argentina, often participate in our programs so students learn firsthand what it is like to live and work overseas.
David has been certified in the Forum on Education Abroad’s Standards of Good Practice as well as its Code of Ethics. He holds an English degree from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Austral University in Buenos Aires.

Alex Uhls is our Director of Business Development who previously ran the hospitality program at and secured investors for a large vineyard estate in Mendoza’s wine country.
Alex also founded a company to connect boutique vineyards in Mendoza with retailers and restaurants in the United States. His experience includes time as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer for rural agricultural projects in the developing world.
Alex speaks fluent Spanish and holds an MBA from the University of Denver, with a focus on international business. An avid outdoorsman from Colorado, he spends his free time between the Rocky Mountains and the Andes, skiing and mountaineering.
